In-Person vs. On-Line Piano Lessons and Voice Lessons
Until the Covid-19 Pandemic, I had taught all of my lessons in-person. As an educator, I was well aware of on-line learning and had even taken some on-line classes myself. Never would I have imagined that I would be forced to convert my entire in-person operation to a virtual one in the span of two weeks.. In those two weeks, I got myself up to speed by researching the best practices for on-line piano lessons and voice lessons. With the help of my dedicated students and their families we ran many trial runs to come up with the most satisfactory learning environment we could create on-line.
I look forward to seeing my students in person but I am so proud of the amazing work we have done virtually. Online learning is a viable option of convenience, health and safety.
